Make the Most of Your Appointment

  1. Please do not use your fireplace or stove for at least 24-hours before your scheduled appointment. If you burn wood, please remove any ash from the firebox as ash will keep the heat in the firebox and make it unsafe for our technicians to service, inspect or take measurements.
  2. Please make sure around your fireplace is cleared of furniture and anything that is fragile. Though our technicians are extremely careful in your home, we carry in a lot of equipment and we wouldn’t want a prized possession of yours falling from your mantel and getting destroyed.
  3. We love meeting our customers pets! We even post selfies with our customers pets (with permission) on our social media and we have shop dogs at our scheduling office. All of us are pet lovers but please make sure your pets are put away in another room that our technicians are not working in. Sometimes our guys have to come in and out of your home multiple times while they are working and we don’t want to take the chance of letting your pet outside.
  4. Don’t be afraid to ask us questions. Never lived in a house with a fireplace before and don’t know how to light a fire? Always had a fireplace but just wondering how something works? We are happy to answer any questions you may have about your chimney, fireplace, or hearth appliance.
  5. Payment is due at the completion of work. We accept cash, checks (made out to Keystone’s Fireplace & Stove), and all major credit cards. In trying not to raise our prices across the board, any credit card payments over $1,000 will include an additional 3% processing fee.
